Atlas and his siblings- Sage, Orion, Lyric, & Sterling- were discovered in an old storage shed on a family property where their mother had not been seen in three days. The neighbor's dogs across the creek had been loose, and momma simply vanished after they were spotted. The family could not take care of five, 3.5 week old kittens, so we reached out to help.
Tiny, full of parasites and an insatiable desire to live, Atlas and his brothers and sisters settled quickly in to bottle feeding and were soon sleeping 3-4 hours at a time. It was a huge milestone .
The smallest of his four other brothers and sisters, Atlas has had to struggle hardest to find his place, especially where it comes to food. Due to being half the size of his biggest brother, Orion, we weren't sure if Atlas was going to make it. But he was the very first one to devour half a baby bottle at one time, and has been off to the races ever since! Atlas is a fierce defender of his breakfast, but beyond his penchant for milk and chicken, he is a sensitive little soul.
